If required, we will be happy to bring an extra duvet or woollen blanket to your room. Please contact our reception.

Breakfast

Our rich breakfast buffet is served in our Älpliblick restaurant from 07:30 to 10:00. Breakfast is included in the room rate.

The nearest bus station is about 100m from the hotel. Follow the main road uphill.

Check In

In principle, the rooms are ready for occupancy from 15:00. Upon request and subject to availability, this may also be the case earlier.

Children’s prices

Cots can be provided on request in specially equipped rooms. Children up to 5 years stay free of charge in their parents’ room. For children in an extra bed from 6 to 12 years we charge CHF 50 per day and from 13 years CHF 80 per day. Please note, the provision of an extra bed is only possible in selected rooms.

Doctor

If you need a doctor, the reception desk will be happy to make an appointment with our family doctor. The emergency ward at Chur Hospital is open 24 hours for urgent treatment. Patients with acute health problems can be examined and treated without prior appointment.

Dogs

Your pet is welcome to stay with us. We charge a contribution towards expenses of CHF 15 per night for the additional expense. We reserve the right to hold the owner liable for any damage caused by the pet in the hotel. Please use the “Do not disturb” door hanger if your pet is alone in the room. For hygienic reasons, dogs are not allowed in the sauna.

Ecology

“Healthy” room temperatures for us are 20 to 21 degrees. Do not regulate the room temperature via the open window, but with the thermostat.
Proper ventilation promotes health and well-being:

Open the window 2 to 3 times a day for 5 minutes and let it air out.

When you leave the room, please turn off the lights and turn off all electronic devices.

Electricity

The electrical voltage in Switzerland is between 220 and 240 volts.

Emergencies

The reception is not staffed at night. Someone can be reached at any time via the number 600 (internal) or (+41) 81 382 01 01.

Emergency exit

The emergency exit is marked with green illuminated emergency exit signs. In the event of a fire alarm, follow the route marked on the escape plan on the room door, observe the emergency exit signs and follow the instructions of the staff. Use the staircase, the lift is out of order!

After leaving the hotel, proceed to the barn opposite the hotel and follow the instructions of the incident commander at the assembly point.

We use an electronic key system for all entrance doors and rooms. Please carry the key with you. For security reasons, the ski room is also locked from the outside. A loss of key will be charged with CHF 30.00.

A laundry bag and laundry price list are located in your wardrobe with which you can have your personal laundry cleaned or ironed by us. Please hand in your clothes before 10:00 am and you will receive them cleaned and returned to your room by 11:00 am the next day. There is a charge for this service.

Exterior parking is available free of charge next to the hotel, as well as across the street. You can also park your car in our garage for CHF 10.00 per night.

The nearest pharmacy is a 5-minute drive from the hotel and is located on Voa Principala in 7078 Lenzerheide. It is open Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 18:30, Saturdays 08:00 -17:00.

If you need a copy of any document, the reception desk will be happy to help you.

Pillow service

For your well-being, we can offer you a selection of various pillows (different sizes, bolsters, rose hair pillows, synthetic pillows) and duvets. Ask at the reception until 5:00 pm.

Please do not disturb

If you wish to be undisturbed, please attach the door hanger to your room door with the red side facing outwards. We will gladly take your request into consideration.

Let us know if we may do the daily room cleaning. Please attach the door hanger with the green side to your room door. Thank you!

Post

If you are expecting private mail, you will be informed by the reception. You are welcome to obtain stamps from reception and hand in your letters for posting. You will find a selection of postcards in our lobby.

Public transport

The Hotel Alpina is well connected to public transport. The nearest bus stop is 100m up the main road. The reception will be happy to assist you in finding the appropriate bus connections.

Children Policy

Access to the Relaxation area is permitted from the age of 16. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Please use the wet area with extreme caution to avoid accidents. There is a risk of slipping when the floor is wet. Use of all relaxation facilities is at your own risk. The hotel declines all liability.

The menu of our restaurants contains a wonderful selection of local delicacies from the mountain cuisine of Graubünden. But also of the highest standard are the market-fresh dishes, as well as our Fondue Chinoise, served in old copper-coal pots.

Restaurant bill

You can have any consumption in the lobby or restaurant charged to your room. The receipts will then be added to your hotel bill.

Repairs

If you notice any technical defects in your hotel room, please contact reception. We will take care of fixing the defect as soon as possible.

Your room will be cleaned daily by 16:00.

Security

Our hotel is monitored with an automatic fire alarm system. The automatic fire detectors trigger an alarm directly.

Sights

For information on museums, theatres, events and other activities, please contact reception. We will be happy to assist you with valuable tips.

Ski room

Our ski room is located on the 1st floor and is accessible via the staircase and directly from the street. Please put your ski and snowboard boots on the boot racks provided. If you have rented your equipment, we ask you to remember the brand of the skis due to the risk of confusion.

Ski passes

You can buy ski passes and hiking passes online via this link or directly at the Heimberg ticket office right next to the ski lift.

Smoking

All our guest rooms are non-smoking. We reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of 50 percent of the room rate should smoking occur in the room. In summer, a sun terrace on the 3rd floor is available for smoking. Thank you for your understanding.

Stamps are available at the reception desk at the usual commercial rates.

Calls to foreign countries are not possible from the hotel room telephones.
